The following is a list of error codes that may appear on a dishwasher and their possible causes:
1-1 or F1E1 – Relay on the electronic control board may be stuck.
1-2 or F1E2 – The electronic control board may be defective.
2-1 or F2E1 – A button on the user interface control may be stuck.
3-1 or F3E1 – Thermistor/OWI sensor may have failed.
3-2 or F3E2 – Thermistor/OWI sensor may be shorted.
3-3 or F3E3 – OWI may have failed to calibrate or the drain hose check valve may have failed, allowing dirty water to backflow into the dishwasher.
4-4 or F4E4 – There may be a communication error between the electronic control board and the circulation pump motor.
5-1 or F5E1 – The door switch may have failed.
5-2 or F5E2 – The control detects that the door is not opening.
6-1 or F6E1 – The dishwasher may not be filling.
6-2 or F6E2 – Water inlet valve may have failed.
6-3 or F6E3 – Suds or air may be in the water pump.
6-4 or F6E4 – The float switch may be open.
6-7 or F6E7 – Flow Meter may have failed.
6-8 or F6E8 – Water softener regeneration valve may have failed.
7-1 or F7E1 – The heating element may not be functioning.
7-2 or F7E2 – The heating element may not shut off.
8-1 or F8E1 – The dishwasher may be draining slowly.
8-2 or F8E2 – There may be an electrical problem with the drain pump.
8-4 or F8E4 – The drain pump motor may have failed.
9-1 or F9E1 – The electronic control board may not be able to detect the position of the diverter disc.
9-2 or F9E2 – The diverter motor may be stuck on.
9-3 or F9E3 – The diverter disc may be missing.
9-4 or F9E4 – There may be an error with the lower spray arm.
10-1 or FAE1 – The detergent dispenser may have failed.
10-3 or FAE3 – The drying fan may have failed.
