LG Dishwasher Error Codes
These error code explanations can help you diagnose a problem with your Samsung dishwasher.
Water inlet error. The dishwasher did not fill to the normal water level within 10 minutes.
Drain error. The dishwasher did not drain after 5 minutes of drain pump operation.
- Remove any clogs from the sink drain and check for any kinks or clogs in the drain.
- Unplug the dishwasher and check the wiring connections on the drain pump.
- Check the drain pump for any clogs or damage, and replace the drain pump if damaged.
Water leakage detected. The wash pump motor sped up because there is water leaking from the tub.
- Make sure that the drain hose is properly installed at the correct height in order to prevent water from siphoning out of the dishwasher tub during the wash cycle.
- Inspect the tub and pump for leaks.
Excessive water usage. Too much water is entering the tub and the drain pump is running constantly.
Thermistor (temperature sensor) is defective
- Unplug the dishwasher and inspect the wiring connections on the thermistor and electronic control board.
- If all wiring connections are okay, replace the thermistor.
- If this problem persists, replace the electronic control board.
Wash pump motor error
- Unplug the dishwasher and inspect the wiring connections on the wash pump and the electronic control board.
- Check the wash pump impeller for an obstruction.
- If the wash pump is damaged, replace it.
Heater error
- Unplug the dishwasher and check the wiring connections on the heater.

HS – short or disconnection of humidity.
IF or F1 – the refrigerator has detected a problem with the refrigerator’s ice maker fan.
iT – defect in the icemaker.
rT – a shortened or open room temperature sensor.
rF – an abnormality in the refrigerator’s fan motor.
rS – a short or disconnection of the refrigerator sensor.
SS – a shortened or open pantry sensor.
Ad – displays when the door motor does not move to maximum position or home position within 5 seconds.
dL – displays when the door motor does not move to maximum position or home position within 5 seconds.
AS,LAS or AS – displays when the auto door motor is in operation, and the reed switch is in open state.
dr – displays when the door motor does not move to maximum position or home position within 5 seconds.
Sb – may look like Sb, S6, 5b, or 56 – means Sabath mode which is used on the Jewish Sabath and holidays.
Od – a WIFI Modem or communication error between the micom of the LCD display and the WIFI modem.
LG Range/Stove/Oven Error Codes
F1-F20 -Press the CLEAR/OFF key and try the original function again.
HS Code – an indication of a hot surface.
PF Code – an indication that the unit has experienced power failure.
Sb Code – an indication that the unit is in SABBATH MODE(used on the Jewish Sabbath and holidays).

tE1 – Thermistor failure
tE2 – Thermistor failure
dE – Door switch error
d75, d80, d90, d95 – dryer’s exhaust duct is clogged 75%,80%,90$,95% respectively. 
np – dryer’s display indicates that there is a problem with the electrical wiring in the home.
p5 – dryer’s display indicates that there is improper voltage with the power cord.
E13 – drain hose is kinked, crushed, clogged or the water in the sump is frozen.
F0 – lint filter should be checked to ensure that it is inserted properly.
HS – Humidity Sensor
gAS – dryer door is not receiving gas.
Add – add water.
LG Washer Error Codes
IE – A water inlet error meaning that the machine is not getting enough water.
DE –A draining error, which means the water in the machine is having trouble getting out.
UE –An unbalanced error, regarding the load you’re trying to wash – either it’s too big, too small or in some way unbalanced.
dE – An open door error; the door of your LG washer is still open.
PF – An unexpected power failure during a cycle.
You can likely fix any of these errors by yourself at home.
tE –A problem with the temperature gauge. This code can sometimes be followed by a number.
FE – The water is overfilling because of a faulty water valve.
PE – A problem with the pressure switch.
CE –An issue with a motor overload.
DHE – A dry heater error.
